This project served as a formal introduction to Adobe Illustrator in the Miami University course Image. I was tasked with redesigning the cover of any vinyl record, utilizing exclusively Illustrator. I aimed to bring a more modern and cohesive look to the album, while still matching an aesthetic that aligns with the style of music. The process served as amazing practice working with illustration, texture, and vector graphics, and demonstrated the importance of brand research, in-depth critiques, and practical function. The final product was taken to print to create a functioning vinyl cover.
